Situation
A leading value added service provider in India offers its services through its satellite based network. In addition to email, remote database access, video conferencing, it also offers Electronic Commerce(EC) and Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) services.
Objective
The network service provider realized the limitations of traditional EDI services and was looking for a solution where in smaller partners of the trading community can afford to the cost of exchanging business documents with larger partners without compromising with the quality of service.
