IP Telephony
IP Telephony, Internet telephony, Voice over broadband (VoBB) and broadband phone are terms that are interchangeably used to refer to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP): that is, the delivery of voice communication over IP networks. When prefixed with Internet (as in Internet telephony) the terminology refers to the fact that the delivery channel for the communications is the Internet instead of the regular PSTN network.
IP telephony affords us a consistent experience, better infrstruacture utilization and lower operational costs on deployment. The lowering of overall costs and simplification of management is propelling the adoption of IP telephony across the world. Let MeCOM show you how!
